President, Boeing Saudi Arabia
Asaad AlJomoai was appointed as president of Boeing Saudi Arabia in October 2023, taking the lead for strategic growth and productivity across Boeing’s operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With a strong focus on partnerships, AlJomoai is driving relations with government and enterprise stakeholders and developing new business relations to build Boeing’s presence in the region. He works closely with the aviation ecosystem in the Kingdom, in congruence with the Kingdom’s aspirational aviation development plans, and to increase sustainability in the sector in line with net zero emission goals, he is also responsible for developing the one-Boeing culture and corporate citizenship programs.
AlJomoai brings over 24 years of experience to Boeing Saudi Arabia, with a proven background in developing strategically important sectors of the economy in Saudi Arabia. He previously held several roles simultaneously, as Board Member of the Saudi Exports Development Authority, a Senior Advisor to the Minister of Investment, and Managing Director of the Global Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (GSCRI), and member of the Balance of Trade Improvement team at the General Authority for Foreign Trade. In these roles, he worked to promote Exports and Foreign Direct Investment, and to develop business opportunities in global supply chains in support of Saudi Arabia’s booming economy and the Vision 2030 program.
Before these public sector roles, AlJomoai enjoyed a previous term at Boeing Saudi Arabia, as in-country lead for International Strategic Partnerships, responsible for developing Boeing defense localization opportunities, business growth and localization obligation fulfillment. He also held the position of VP Strategy and Business Development, Boeing Saudi Arabia, responsible for sustaining in-country strategy and developing Boeing’s business interest.
Prior to that, AlJomoai held a number of roles in the ICT sector, including managing the delivery of the first phase of Saudi Arabia’s National Government Systems Integration infrastructure (GSB), for which he was officially recognized by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, he also played a pivotal role in the development of Saudi Arabia’s National eGov action plan.
Asaad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA, both from King Saud University. Born in Ireland, he is married with three children.
