- Boeing and the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) mark 15 years of C-17 Globemaster III operations, five years of AH-64 Apache and three years of F-15 service in Qatar.

“We are delighted to exhibit at DIMDEX, a pivotal event enabling us to engage with our customers and partners in Qatar and the region”, said Vince Logsdon, vice president of Global Business Development & Strategic Marketing at Boeing Defense, Space & Security. “It's also an excellent occasion to underscore our steadfast partnership and growing workforce in Qatar, supporting the mission readiness of Boeing aircraft in the country”.
Featured Boeing capabilities at DIMDEX include:
- The F-15 Qatar Advanced multi-role fighter, including the large area display demonstration of the aircraft’s design and technologies at the QEAF stand

With more than 300 employees in Qatar, Boeing provides parts, training, maintenance and logistics support to the QEAF’s fleet, including the F-15QA fighter, the C-17 Globemaster III transport airplane and the AH-64 Apache helicopter – all of which are used to protect Qatar’s air, land and sea borders.
DIMDEX coincides with several milestones, highlighting Boeing's enduring partnership with Qatar. The C-17 Globemaster III airlifters have been in service with the Qatar Emiri Air Force for 15 years, having been deployed to conduct multiple humanitarian missions around the world. Qatar became the first Gulf Cooperation Council nation to operate the C-17 Globemaster III beginning in 2008. Boeing's ongoing support for Qatar’s C-17 fleet, exemplified by the recent renewal of its global sustainment support program, reaffirms its dedication to enhancing mission capabilities.
DIMDEX also marks the 5th anniversary of the AH-64 Apache helicopters' service with the QEAF, recognizing its important role in safeguarding Qatar’s airspace. Additionally, AH-64 Apaches flew during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Boeing has been providing support to the QEAF by facilitating the F-15QA fighter jet fleet in-country for three years since deliveries started in 2021.
